I bought this bag for outings with my kids- something to keep our drinks and snacks cold that wouldn’t weigh me down and get in the way of the fun. It has actually far exceeded my expectations! The Riled Blubber01 is a huge upgrade from my old, worn hard-case cooler. It’s soft and packs easily, of course, and the mesh support on the back makes it super comfortable to wear, even on long hikes! I’m on the smaller side, so I was worried it would feel big and bulky on me but it’s actually shockingly small for how much it holds! It’s narrow, allowing me full range of motion. The mesh back support is so comfy and breathable. the whole thing is waterproof and super easy to clean.
While all the other parents at the soccer game are getting sweaty lugging around their big, trendy Y*** coolers, I’m skipping by them with my Blubber Cooler backpack! The best part is that I can easily grab a drink without even taking it off my back. It has pockets for all our sunblocks, sunglasses, wallet, etc. I don’t need another bag! Bonus that it comes with perfectly sized ice packs that I can reuse for my kids lunch boxes between adventures. I am asked about it every time I use it and I recommend it to everyone! Purchased the blubber backpack cooler and it's the best cooler ever for cold beverages on the go.
We have used it at the beach, the park, and to a couple of events so far. It kept our drinks cold all day long. It is so easy to load the ice packs that fit right in and have easy access to drinks without removing the pack. So much nicer than unloading and digging through a typical cooler.
It is comfortable and doesn’t get hot when wearing it due to the clever design to keep air flow between the cooler and your back.
